i think i am going to push the clothing idea, with plain tee's being the foundation you can go into thrift shops and customize jackets and dresses with the coli woven label stitched onto it. same logo you can press stickers and posters round your locals and promote the web-page for the merchandise. open to all forms of commerce but i think theres something in this one.
its sunday blessings lets build, as for paperwork thats the mod/team leader and whose in gets the products sent to local post office or something.
crack open alibaba stop playing.
i work in the apparel industry as a Patternmaker/Samplemaker + Garment Technologist,
if you really want to make money you need real garments.
you need garments that solve problems, t-shirts are not an emotive enough product.
dresses, swimsuits, pants, outerwear...a tshirt is a novelty, personally. it's not a necessity.
pants and bottoms convert and sell in higher ratios...2:1 is a floor.
you would see quicker success making your own Embellish or Hyperdenim than another tshirt shop
LVMH, Prada, Hermes, etc etc make the bulk of their profit on leather branded accessories (bags, wallets, shoes, etc)...its not their Ready-to-Wear like people think it is.
and marketing is their biggest outgoing expense going into the millions for Vogue, Bossip and TV commercial placements.
success with tshirts needs high volume online traffic and a high volume of sales...but it can be done.
there are people making 20k monthly from tshirts but you will be spending a lot of money warming up cold traffic.
fashion merchandising(ex- buying off alibaba and reselling with a %markup) is a staple but the consumers are onto it and are starting to demand unique products from sellers.
it's easier to be profitable selling uniquely made higher end garments
than it is to sell mass-market $30-$50 items.
your options are going to come down to how good you can sew.
if you can sew to true commercial standards you will always be a bucket.
