Do not Build Fortresses To Protect Yourself - Isolation is DANGEROUS ....

50 cent isolated himself creatively and cut himself off from the world ..

EM did this for 5yrs and came back and sold close to 20mil with his next 2 releases... since recovery hes been in "isolation" for 3+yrs and is STILL the most anticpated artist in music...

50 had the business sense and savy to be what Jay-z is now .. he just didn't have the music to transcend eras ... He absolutely ruled during his era but after his era ended .. he couldn't even be a B tier rapper any more .. because of his ego and what he did to others before him. isolated himself and also made it corny to switch up styles to adjust to what the audience wanted to hear at that time or what type of music was popular. He now has to either be on top or not in the game at all ... and he know it will be embarassing to come back like a mid level rapper doing Wale numbers. after he has sold 10 mil twice.

I still remember vividly, listening to Get Rich with a roomful of nikkas and I said "there's no way this nikka is gonna be relevant longer than 3-4 years". The reason being, son can't spit, lol. there's only so many times you can rhyme the same basic ass words and talk about the same ol topics in the same ol way before people say "okay, what the fukk? we've heard this a million times already from you."

SKILLS man, skills really are the underlying factor in terms of longevity. Nas, Hov, Eminem, etc... it's the foundation of an artist, when the hoopla and hype is gone all that's left is the talent. these new nikkas light in the ass with the bars, i knew 50 was a wrap early, his money is the only reason we still even discuss him

this is the most on point thing in this thread he can't rap and now that the hype is gone he is finished.

for the 86756345698th time.. 50cent is signed to JIMMY IOVINE... curtis dissed the fukk out of jimmy and made a competing company against his cash cow "beats" iovine is holdin a grudge and dre is/was to a lesser extent... this also strained 50's relationship with EM since EM looks at DRE as literally the man that saved his life and he will always ride with dre even tho EM signed 50

lol @ u nyggas thinking the real reason 50 is where he is .. is cuz he dissed jimmy iovine .. lmao .. jimmy iovine looks at 50 like a field nygger. he could care less about him as long as he brings in the check. u think jimmy iovine is out here on some jimmy henchmen "im a tough guy .. dont diss me" act .. no he's about that money.

if i was jimmy .. idk if u diss me or whatever just bring in those sales. this is the MUSIC BUSINESS ...... if ur value is declining and u cant sell the way u use to anymore ... u have lost leverage which means u aren't the most important horse in the stable.

em came out of isolation on recovery and released his first album ever fully produced outside the Aftermath production style. His first single was produced by Boi 1da, the guy behind a lot of Drake's beats. His second single featured Rihanna. Em played it right. :ehh:
