Daz hasn't been on a Snoop album since Tha Doggfather! :dahell:

That's crazy, they're fukking cousins.

i always thought it was more of a business move on snoop's part to just pull in the most big name producer(s) of the moment to help sell his own shyt. even then, it's like that's yo cousin and how many is 4 to 5 tracks when yo albums usually have a good 18 tracks to em, lol

but it's like damn, you could at least let ya cousin produce a good 4-5 tracks on a few albums

i know snoop looks out for him by lettin' him go on tour with him and all but damn, let daz do what he do best and produce some tracks for you

Daz has a lot of good material along with a lot of bad material. His shyt really went downhill when he started fukking with JT. That's really when he started looking at music as a hustle, because that's what the bay does.

Right after that R.A.W. album he started gettin lazy on the beats And the mixing

This.

I remember the period when he just put out album after album, the mixing was a disgrace.

He was on his independent hustle and just flooded the market. The quality suffered as a result.

Shame, because I used to love his production. He can still make a dope beat when he's ready though.

Should have never started rapping and just concentrated on his beats.

Imagine a Kurupt solo LP on Deathrow...

:mjcry:

That's harsh. He played his part in Dogg Food (classic) and put out Retaliation Revenge & Get Back, which is also a classic in my opinion. Raw & Dillinger & Gotti were also dope.

I agree about that Kurupt Solo on Deathrow though, that shyt would have been crazy. Instead we got Kuruption on Antra:mjcry:

Dillinger & Gotti was the last solidly produced LP he did in my opinion, but it could have been the fact that Mike Dean co-produced every track.

I always just felt like he didn't have enough work out there. Or maybe not enough MC's messing with his production.

This dude is a West Coast great with the beats.

Jt actually saved that dude career.
I thought U know What I'm Throwing up and the DPG Gangsta LP Went hard. Him and kurupt beefing took a lot of their creative energy away

Drugs?

Most of all tho, no quik or Dre mixing his shyt

He always needed his hand held

Look at Dillinger n young gotti, his best post death row work by far and he had mike dean mix that with him
