This was the picture they showed of the neighborhood. There is a scene in which Rudy is learning to ride a bike and it clearly shows them on a corner house and rudy turned the corner when Claire was able to teach her to ride.

...how could that be?!

If they lived in the middle of the block, a house besides them, another house on the other side of their fence...how'd they get they get the car back there?

Also, did they ever go upstairs to the 3rd floor of the house?
