Where did the notion that Beyoncé can't really sing come from?

every time it's a discussion about her there's always people coming in saying she can't really sing and her voice isn't that great


It's one thing not to like her music because it has become a little to formulamatic but her vocals are there whenever she wants them to be, and she does it effortlessly.

THIS!!! I know from a technical point she´s crazy and she also got a great voice BUT something about her never seemed right and I could never put my finger on what it was..

It started in Dreamgirls because Jennifer Hudson was spazzing and made Beyoncé look super ordinary. People acted like not being able to go like Hudson = not having vocals, but of course that's super untrue. She has pipes, and when she does sing live, does it effortlessly. Beyonce has been doing this since she was little kid, didn't blow until she was 17.....before getting signed all she was doing was singing her own music in a group, her father put her on she wasn't the product of corporate music so wtf!

Did you here the remakes she did of Cadillac record "all I could do was cry" she had alot of soul in her voice.
