Outdated tech before the consoles even launched. Truth be told, I coulda just skipped out on all the consoles this generation (minus the Wii U), and still played 95% of the games on PC.

The only games I've played this gen on console are: Amplitude, The Order, Sunset Overdrive, FH2, Halo 5, Bloodborne, Gravity Rush: Remastered, and Teraway Unfolded. That's only 8 games, which is pathetic for 3 years of games. Console exclusives just went out the door. Everything is on PC now. If you have a PC, consoles are becoming obsolete is seems. I'll still buy the PS4K, NX, and X1.5, but we need more exclusives.

The lack of exclusives is what is hurting this gen, combined with increased PC play.

Now with the Wii U, I got 15 games that I've played. That system was worth the money. Too bad it sold so poorly.

OK
Generation still feels like it's barely started.

These consoles have only started hitting their stride last year. 2013-14 was a warmup period. Going forward we should be seeing the generation defining titles
outside of GOATbourne and Rocket League
start to pop up.

I don't really see it as a problem though. You're just choosing PC over consoles. If anything it's nice that you don't need to buy multiple platforms anymore.

But I do for those one or two console exclusives (Uncharted, etc.). I don't like to miss out on anything :manny:

It's too early to say...

I'm sure Naughty Dog will be in the conversation, whether it be UC4, TLOU2 or something else.

Guerilla has Horizon on the horizon

Online loot shooters like Destiny and The Division could be the answer depending on the quality if their sequels/DLC

VR games are starting to trickle out, and they could be the defining factor of this gen.

GTA VI should be spectacular...

Man IDK.. There are just too many factors to consider at this point, and the recent PS4K, Xbox 1.5 and NX rumors only contribute to the uncertainty that I already feel.
