You have women that will use men no matter how much money he has. It the mindset of most American women that you have to spoil me. I would say avg man is hurt far more financially then a rich man. And what you see as broke the next person might not see it as broke at all.

like i you know most relationships for women especially midddle class/upper class before feminism was based on them finding a man who was of higher economic status than themselves this only changed after feminism.
