In certain states (mostly southern), the state owns/commisions the sale of booze... They have a limited number of locations as your only option to by Liquor (u can get beer/wine from Grocery stores tho)... Problem is they close at 9pm and all of Sunday, so if your busy or working and cant make it by 9 your fukked, your stuck @ a bar or borrowing... It was hard times

Its like that in alabama but we have package stores that stay open much later.

But, they have to buy their liquor from the ABC store so what they sell it at is a much higher price
