I also thumb through the NYTimes, and HuffPo when I wake up, check my CNN news alerts, and skim through an article or two in the NewYorker, TheAtlantic, and the New Republic.
I read like 30 pages of articles by 8 every morning :russ:

BBC, NPR, Reuters...just create RSS feeds on your phone and you'll get news straight to you

Also use Twitter but understand how to use the internet and know how to identify Primary Sources, Secondary Sources, and Internet Bullshyt.

HL posters post a lot of the third kind of news and try to pass it off as actual news and they they get mad or offended when wiser posters point out the nonsense.
