He’s the all time leader in sacks per game, 4th fastest to 100 sacks, currently this season on pace to break the all time single season sacks in one year record. Dude has more sacks this year than whole teams.

If people are gonna claim “you can’t play defense anymore” then the guy who is dominating on that side of the ball in “this era” should get way more praise.

Tough to compare different eras, but offensive linemen as a whole as much stronger and more athletic today. The schemes are more advanced too. Add in the fact that there are more rules that make it difficult for defenders (especially pass rushers), and I don’t see anyone that you can put above him since at least 2000.

I don’t want to go so far to say he’s the greatest we’ve seen, but I won’t fault anybody for saying that. I probably feel that way, but people will start bringing up LT and some players from the 90’s and prior.

The average offensive lineman in the 1980’s was the size of Gronk. Joe Jacoby was consider a “big” LT at 295 pounds.

Myles would embarrass those guys back then.

Shame he barely gets praised in the media, at least not to the extent that his talent/performance justifies.
Actually now I'm trying think of which defensive players get hype and I'm struggling. Media is just biased towards offensive players, people still talking about Aaron Rodgers more than Garrett and other deserving defensive players
