wish he could find himself in the position to win a ring, but after it didn't happen during his nuggets tenure, I'm guessing he's assed out.
He's spent the majority of his career in the position to win a ring, and he's often been the one of the main reasons it didn't happen. Some guys just aren't winning players in that way.

I just think that in his days with the thunder when they had KD and on the nuggets, he would have gotten it done.

esp on the nuggets where he was playing a backup PG role to jamal murray.

I mean, he’s had plenty of chances. He almost always played with Hall of Fame, All NBA first team teammates (Harden, Durant, Bron, AD, Kawhi, Jokic, PG, etc). It’s not as though he didn’t get the opportunity to win.

Regardless of his faults he has had a great career and is still contributing when many thought he would be done. It would be nice to see him get a ring but at the same time like many others have stated he has competed for them his whole career for the most part. And so far it just seems like it wasn't meant to be. Still a first ballot Hall of Famer once he hangs em up.
