last meal is a WC classic

being a west coast classic means little to me. i actually thought No Limit Top Dogg had better songs on it than that joint....

"if i hit this p*ssy you gon' tell on me? won't tell, won't tell won't teeelll"

i hate when i end up in exchanges with you.

Doggystyle, Last Meal and Blue Carpet Treatment, plus his contributions to The Chronic and various other projects has him in my top 20. Son is hit and miss like crazy though, and he's come a long way from Doggystyle. Can't remember the last time I legit anticipated a Snoop project / verse though :yeshrug:.

There's a few videos of him with some GOAT West Coast producers cooking up crack for Detox, he should of kept those beats for himself.

he's taken a terrible tumble. i have love for snoop but musically he hasn't really been shyt since the Dogg Food era. I have every last one of his albums though and he kept a hit when he needed to.

He showed signs of greatness on "Tha Eastsidaz" and "BCT" in my opinion, also had some joints on "Doggumentary" as well. It's a shame how diluted his product became though.

yeah...the very first track on the blue carpet treatment was awesome. you see he still has it in spurts. he's a freestyler though. his writing is basura.

As a hip hop artist, he's easily top 10

Chronic and Doggystyle are tier 1 rap classics

Doggfather and NL Top Dogg were both overlooked good albums, (can easily name at least 10 dope songs off each)

Last Meal and Eastsidaz were west coast classics

Blue Carpet Treatment was a great album, his last good one

Paid the Cost and R&G were albums I wasn't a huge fan of, in terms of its vibe/sound but each of them had a decent amount of dope ness

Da Game is to be sold and every album post BCT were wack but still had a handful of good-great songs

Was always good to give you a great single or two every couple years

Classic guest appearances and collabos (2001, Dogg Food, soundtracks etc)

And although I wish he never strayed from that west coast sound I can appreciate that EVERY single one of his albums sounded different

Easily top 10

There's like 5 rappers on that list who have a better catalogue though
