Where Does The Hate For Motorcyclists Come From? I Don’t Get It

The hate probably come from the ones that do the below,, probably

Most motorcycle riders are generally courteous drivers. The one that annoy are the wannabe ruff riders who zoom through suburban neighborhoods for attention and the ones on rice burners trying to weave through ever small turn putting themselves and other drivers at risk.

Loud for no good reason.
Never use turn signals.
Cuts the line religiously.
Mixing the previous ones into a shytty cocktail.

Lots of bikers see it as an exotic thing to do and end up replicating shytty behavior and it gives us normal two wheeled users a bad rep.

What's running with cutting the line? That's less traffic you have to deal with. And it's safer for motorcycles because they get don't get ran over from behind by people on their phone.

People absolutely do mad at this and i don't get it. It's not a line to a fast food restaurant or entry into an amusment park.

And I can understand why people feel that way
There are a lot of idiots on bikes....those examples above are pretty accurate....


But let's be reality....they're are way more idiots driving cars...And if we gonna generalize...you slide and sock wearing dodge drivers are the real menaces on the road.....

More often than not a bike rider is mostly a danger to himself....

Add to it the hatred when we are ‘slowly’ driving thru traffic. The beeps I get make no sense… then they will try to block me, I either wait for more space, or go to the next opening and proceed to go around them while I whistle minding my business and they are stuck in the same spot. A bIg reason for bikes in the city or highly populated areas is for instances like this; to not sit in the bs traffic.

Taking the left turn lane to accelerate and dip back into single lane traffic once you pass the intersection is not safe for all parties involved. Lanesplitting in still traffic has it's merits as a smaller vehicle, but thinking you can freely dip in and out as you please when traffic is moving is worth a suspension.

Do you not understand you're making people nervous as fukk driving between them? If they turn their wheel the wrong way because you startle them or they just aren't great at judging their vehicle, they might accidentally hit you or someone else. shyt, you make my ACC go crazy if you want to and it might accidentally automatically take you out.

Please, get some self-awareness, breh. Like, follow the rules of the road or don't drive.

Lane splitting is legal in Cali. Plus numerous studies have shown it's safer to let motorcycles filter through traffic. You are more likely to get rear ended by a car than hit while filtering. When you ride all your senses come alive cause you know how vulnerable you are. When I started riding that's when I noticed how bad car drivers are. I hated cars so bad. Always doing everything but paying attention to the road.
