I see a lot of posts saying that people like Bobby Schmurda and other young men are a product of their environment and white supremacy, so we should feel empathy for them and their situations. I don’t see that same compassion for other groups. For example women who wear weaves are ridiculed for being “self-haters and wanting to be white” while failing to take into account that from birth all a black woman ever sees exalted as beautiful is a white woman, and that features like natural hair have been denigrated in this society. Where is the compassion for them? Yet, we’re supposed to be compassionate for people who commit crimes and face the consequences because “white supremacy made them this way”. Either we should feel sympathy for all that affected by white supremacy, or we shouldn’t feel any sympathy at all.
NOTE: Never worn a weave in case you’d try to use that to derail.
