I'll take not into hip hop for 500, Alex.
At least not to the full-out extent.

"Hark Knock Life" and his New York anthem w/Alicia are kinda cool. "99 Problems" is chill when he refuses to let the cop search his car.

Jay-Z's harder songs that demean women in each verse AND IN THE CHORUS are NOT FUN for me. They weren't fun when released, and I won't sit and listen to 3+ minutes of that shyt now.

Appreciation of THE LYRICS of that music (not just the beats and delivery) requires a certain mentality. If you lack the mentality, then you can't get past the lyrics, and you are not gonna have a good time.

Makes perfect sense. Now I know why you're a member of the Coli, a virtual institution for the respect of women, stepdads and those who practice chivalry.

The coli is the epicenter for people who appreciate music which reflects peace, harmony, and pacifism.

Heard that song a million times but didn't connect that phrase to the song. I hadn't heard that song in at least a decade.

The 'how dare you not know' outrage is comical.
