This same team is not getting back to the finals...Bosh contract is heavy and if Wade opts in after 2014, he gets 42 mil over 2 years.....

Riley gotta make a move

wade would be a fool to opt out given his age and his shaky knees and so would bosh. so if either were traded, it's a very safe bet to say they won't opt out.

It amazes me that in this day and age of sports people dont have a working knowledge of the salary cap...how the hell with or without bosh do the heat have money to sign a max guy...smdh...and these are our coli brethren. ...you should crush them all lex with a master plan.

Why would the heat want to sign a big man to start at the 5 and move Bosh back to the 4? Bosh is so valuable there because he's one of the few bigs who can provide the spacing that lets the heat's offense actually work, while still playing pretty good d for being slightly undersized. Start some slow, plodding guy like Mozgov at the C and it changes the whole dynamic of the team. If you can find an athletic big it's a different story, but those aren't easy to find for cheap. Keep Bosh and keep him at the 5, and look for a quality backup, you just wouldn't be able to trade him and find equal production elsewhere and the heat deserve a shot at a three peat together.

Good Stuff right here......

The league is going small ball and the Heat are really good at that because of Lebron.

Like you said, a center that can chew gum and make a layup at the same time is expensive and out of the Heat's price range...

Bring in another big body that can move side to side and defend, and find you a qaulity swing man for the cheap....

I would say Captain Jack but Riley might not want to get older since he already has Sugar Ray and Mike Miller...

Mike may get amnestied though. But the bottom line is, I don't think this team gets back to the finals without some additional pieces...
