Time to go!!
I disagree about that first step. He's got a great first step. Dude just has no clue how to put the ball on the floor twice in a row without looking retarded.

No they should've sent him to the dleague. His game needed polishing.
He lacks a first step. Without a jumper he'll never be a me to get around his defender unless they're off balanced. But his first step of lack thereof is evident of his lack of polishing specifically pertaining to his footwork. Got never ever notice when he has the ball in his possession how wide his feet are apart. That's the biggest reason he lacks a first step. He starts his isos with his legs so far apart that he really doesn't have much lateral left and can't take a larger displacement step to get around his defender. No premier perimeter players do that
I'm surprise nobody on the warriors staff or even one of his teammates have approached him about that. Doesn't seem like it would be a hard habit to correct.
Warriors need to trade him. He MIGHT flourish later on but right now he is lookin like hot BASURA. I am actually disappointed cause he looked like he was getting better and better, his run in the playoffs was great. That unnecessary Iguodala signing really fukked him up.
Shumpert has a great first step too. So does Gerald Henderson. McLemore. Xavier Henry.I disagree about that first step.
Pop can't coach everyoneHarrison isn't as good as people thought last year. ( huge dunks + playoff run )
Harrison isn't as bad as people think this year.
But I think everyone can agree he needs coaching and a system BADLY. He doesn't have a natural basketball game nor a high basketball IQ even though he seems like a well spoken, bright kid. Watching him try to play and pick and roll or make a decisive move 1 on 1 is cringeworthy.
He was gifted with a prototypical NBA frame, but cursed with a low IQ for the game.
On the Warriors, it's a lax coaching style and system where players are basically told to go out and get theirs. Harrison can't do that. He's out here launching threes, taking ill advised drives, never passing, and no one it telling him not to.
If he'll ever reach his potential, he needs to be in a Popovich/Thibs controlled system where he's given a defined role and told to do one or two things, and then build on his game once he achieves that.
It usually takes a catastrophe for Thibs to give someone a shot to prove themselves.Pop can't coach everyone
And Thibs is becoming reeeeeeal overrated as a player development guy. His defense is outstanding but if he was half as good at developing guys as people imply, then he wouldn't be running his starting 5 into the dirt every year.
So happy the Wiz didn't take him. Ernie Grunfeld loves that kid![]()

Klay would be a perfect backcourt compliment to his game but yeah the other two parts of that trade isn't appealing.I cringe every time I read a Barnes /Klay/Lee for Love proposal on the internet.
Barnes will go down as one of the GOAT teases in our basketball lifetimes.
