Yeah it's a cyclocross but I have road tires on it. It can handle fukked up roads better than road bikes. I would prefer it to street riding than a road bike

lol don't buy bikes from the bike shop. You can catch some great deals on Craigslist and use the bike blue book to check the value . Anything at the shop is gonna cost almost double the price when people have bikes on Craigslist with just a few hundred miles on em

Just curious but why does it make it a great combo? Is it because of less weight?

Both are better at absorbing vibrations better than aluminum. I had an aluminum Felt that got stolen and I find my new steel frame to be much more comfortable. The addition of the carbon fork was a noticeable upgrade over the original one that came on it too. Here's my old, Felt. It was a 24 speed that I converted to an 8 speed just for the fukk of it.

I had to get a new one. The bottom bracket had to be replaced and the bike was never my size anyways so I sold it and now I got this beautiful thang. Gonna get a brown seat and brown handle grips and call that bih cafe con leche what you ladies and gents riding?

I sold it though, cuz i only rode it a few times and didnt get into it. That shyt sucks on inclines (not even steep ones)

Sounds like you just had a bad gear ratio. You could have changed it and probably enjoyed it a lot more.
