Hitch or roof rack is definitely the way to go. Don't get one of those folding ones with the ratchet straps that tie to your trunk, you're better off just staying with tossing it in your backseat at that point

Thats the thing. I actually always wanted another bike as my manual joint rusted out from sitting in a basement for years. Did two weeks of vinegar and steel wool on the bytch and its just too much cosmetic rust to bother anymoreMan....I bought a $700 ebike on someit's gonna be some bullshyt.
My boy went out and bought the Mendocino by schwinn spent $1600 on it....
I've see a lot and I mean a lot of cats riding around on the Wal-Mart hyper electric bike which went on fire sale for $300.
Needless to say I use my ebike more than my boy uses his and he paid double. It ain't about the price, it's about the usage.
Really wish I could cop that Wal-Mart special though, that's a no brainer. But then again I'd use the fukk out of it til the frame rusted through.

If you work 2-3 miles don't spend a lot, buy low, and stack dough, for real.
But if I get the E-Bike, the only thing I need to do is be on my 
when riding or parking in some neighborhoods but it should take me out of the habit of driving to play ball and allow me to maneuver better when I want to take photos of the city. The money is nothing and something at the same time. I really dislike driving and am feeling one of these or an E-scooter. The bike is winning me over for the prospect of long trips, though.

He checks his retirement account about three times a day like he's some kind of daytrader or something. Dude is gonna be cutting lawns until he keels over on the mower when he's 90 years old with the way he's going

I sometimes carried 2 bikes on this single bike rack affixed to my car. Used to leave it on my car year round, straps don't snap or break, never had any scratches....

The only thing you need regardless if you pay $300 or $3000 is a warranty. The most expensive thing is the battery. If it dies, you have a regular bicycle.
Now the schwinn Mendocino is like 75lbs. Your standard mountain bike is like 20-30lbs. If your battery dies...youre looking at over $400+ out of pocket. A lot of these companies are fly-by-night, here today gone tomorrow.
A lot of these companies lie their ass off. 30 miles on a single charge!!!!!! Well more like 10-15 if you're using assist all the time.
I rarely ever use my assist. But then again I don't have too much elevation. So I just hit the throttle when I want a boost.
They'll also say 20mph+ or 30mph!!!!! Some bikes can get there. But when you top out, you can only top out for so long, it's gonna drain your battery. So be cautious, watch reviews on whatever you're interested in.

.I'm happy just to be able to ride to and from my office job and spend other time running and riding. Ive got my health. But my indoor job is going to kill me at 60. If someone offered me the opportunity to live to see 90 and be physically able to ride a mower

That one actually looks pretty cool. I was thinking more something like this that I had once. I'm very mechanically inclined, but man I hated mounting it to my car, I just found it easier to toss my bike in the trunk than try to wrestle with getting it on and off all the time.
I mean the Amazon warranty on top of the one that comes with the bike.
That company is in China somewhere. That back tire breaks or motor burns out, you're gonna get some 1-800 number to nowhere or be sending emails for months, lucky to get a response.
But Amazon, will take anything back at anytime (like Wal-Mart) and usually ship out replacements parts and if they can't get the parts then if they have or can get another bike, they'll just ship you a new bike and you ship the old one back or maybe they'll let you keep the old one and the new one......
Thats what I figured. I was honestly gonna order this bike from a local shop but Amazon, as much as I fukking hate that the company represents, has the best service when it comes to things I get not being up to snuff.
Yeah, unfortunately like 90% of ebikes are made in China, sold from China. That's not a bad thing. That's why you can get them for $700 up to $8k.
But when dealing with the repairs for the most important shyt like batteries, electrical, the motor, you're really at the mercy of China. You're local bike store ain't got a tech on hand to fix those parts, extra parts aren't in the back somewhere.
And with these ebikes they are all premade/mass produced so you'll find literally the same bike with a Hurley sticker and logo then that bike with some random company name and logo on it. You gotta watch cause the Hurley one might be $1499 but the same bike with the name or logo you never heard might be $999.

Yea, I literally see the same style on a few other bikes. I won't lie to you: the color scheme has me ready to pay the premium

I find peace in riding. I never thought that would happen
