Pop would have a stroke watching him play

Im saying though....he could save him if Melo was willing. I dont know if he'll ever let a coach challenge him though..

Melo wasted 3 years of his prime with amare who has :flabbynsick: Knees. Why would he want to take that risk with Rose?

Do yall remember how Amare was killing his first season in NY? That Melo/Amare combo had the possibility of looking real nice before the knees really got fukked up. Then we saw they weren't even compatible on the court at the same time

How are y'all so sure Chicago is the best place for him?
- Cheap Owner
- Thibs' offense
- Rose knee injuries + his style of play

Knicks have their issues mainly Dolan's dumbass but most of the team is off the books after next season and they will have a new coach. I think he's off but I'm too sure Chicago is such a smart bet.

I was thinking the same shyt.I don't think Rose will ever be the same.Once them knees start to lose tread, it's hardly reversible..

If he really wanted to form a powerhouse, he'd go to Houston. The way that team is gelling right now:whoo:.I think they're the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NBA at the moment

I watch a lot of Suns games and that Rockets team they faced the other night was the most complete/best team I've seen them play all year IMO.Although I think he has a lot of bytch tendencies, that nikka Dwight is back. He's looking 2009'ish, but with a lil more polish on offense. When healthy, he's arguably the best defensive anchor in the league, also.

Personally, If I was Melo, I'd go to Houston. On top of all that, the females:ohlawd:.It's one of the booty capitals of the world

Melo could not play with Harden.

Melo in San Antonio or Portland would make a ton of sense. I doubt he'd want that type of environment though....and IDK if either team could swing it. Hell, the Suns too.

Agree about Dwight though...he's playing well.

Actually had Houston as a great spot for him but can he sign without a trade? Don't see Dolan doing business with Houston under circumstances.

The perception of Melo is crazy to me. He isn't that greedy and he's actually been a great teammate in NY. He's been the least of our issues imo.

Funny seeing all these fans want Melo :mjpls: Thought he was overrated being in the NY market. :mjpls:

I'll throw out a name that hasn't been said:

Houston.

That's if he's really about winning shyt like he's saying. If he just wants to moderately compete and get paid for nothing then he can go to LA & Chicago, he just won't ever win anything. He'll barely make it into the playoffs in LA and he'll be behind MIA/IND until he retires in Chicago. Melo to Miami wont happen.

So it's kinda self explanatory why Houston, Harden/Howard together is better than Kobe by himself at this point or a busted up Rose. And with the way Houston is set up, they could make a Melo signing happen or at the very least trade with the Knicks. Everybody on Houston's cap other than Howard, Harden, Asik, and Lin make less than $2 million. If it just came down to it Houston could move Asik for a straight cash dump and I don't think they'd have much problems moving Lin if they had to, then sign Melo and still have room to improve the bench. The stars seem aligned for one of Melo or Love to end up in Houston, that is if they aren't trying to go to LA.

Looking at Houston's salary book makes me realize how much of a steal Parsons is though, he's only going to make 967k next season.
How the hell is Houston going to get Melo? They're basically at the cap right now. No one is going to trade for Asik or Lin as we saw at the deadline. They're each making $15 million next year. They are not worth that kind of money, even if it only counts for $8 million against the cap.

Chicago is the logical choice, except for Derrick Rose. He played like shyt when he was on the floor this season and then he got hurt again. I think it's too risky to sign there and hope Rose returns to form.

I'm gonna stick with the Lakers as his top destination. If they get the top pick and Embiid, I would set it in stone. Phoenix and Dallas are the dark horse landing spots.

I honestly think he's going to Miami

If Miami 3-peats than it's a lot harder to see but if they lose, I think Melo is going to the heat
