I don’t have a new fancy truck, just a little 4 cylinder 96 GMC Sonoma. It stays parked for the most part, but comes in handy when I need to haul something. I used to want a big truck, like a turbo diesel duallie, but decided that’s too much truck for my needs, and would’ve been a waste of money.

Been pickup truck gang for almost 13 years now. Both trucks are F-150s.

When I got mine it was extremely rare to see a Black male in a truck. Especially a Black male under 60. I used to be somwhat of an 'exotic' when I pull up on hoes at the club or hopped out at a gas station, and they see a fine Black brother climbing out from behind the tint of that "big ole truck!":krs:

Now, every goofy with dreads AND his follower ass homeboy has been bitten by this... "bug"... where all of yall now want a pickup. Sh*t's been spreading rapidly for the past 5 years now. And let me just inform yall right now that 90 percent of yall look absolutely f*cking stupid driving it. Look like tryhards. Ya wouldn't begin to know how to put that truck to real work. Go get a f*cking Charger or something :camby:

from a financial standpoint ion think there's been a better time to buy a truck

taco, raptor, jeep, all these are gonna hold value with minimal depreciation while electric sedans/hybrids tank in value cause their resale will suck

if we keep getting 7%+ inflation a year it might not be far off that it appreciates. shyt there's cats right now making money putting 50k miles on their trd taco, it's wild. and toyota's offering 2.5% apr at 60 months too :whoo:

Bought a 2006 F150 XLT Supercrew new in 2006. It has 236,000 miles on it now.

Bought a 2018 F150 King Ranch with 19,000 miles on it in 2019. It has 91,000 miles on it now.

Bought a 2014 Mustang GT in 2014 with 7500 miles on it. It has 51,000 on it now.

I love the horse but the truck is so comfortable.

4 wheel drive pick-up trucks in the winter time>>>>>>>>>>>.

2 wheel drive pick-up trucks in the winter time:francis::francis::francis::francis::francis::francis::francis:
Do not I repeat do not do a rwd in the winter. Rwd combined with a no weight on the back is a recipe for disaster. I know :mjcry:

Only the combo of sandbags and brand new snow tires made my truck halfassed drivable

I'm thinking it's time for me to get one just for the times when i have trash in bulk. Or if i need to buy or throw away some furniture or whatnot. Plus in the area i live in it wouldn't be a bad thing to have one for the winter time.

I use to think it was a redneck or a work thing, but now I can’t stop thinking about getting one :wow:
I tried to get a 2018 Toyota Tundra yesterday. After I got approved, the dealer told me the payment plan is 48 months with a 647 monthly payment. My heart dropped after I heard the amount. :picard: I told the dealer no thank you.
