Is this the diss where he talked about Cole flopping and made many believe that he smashed his sister?

AND Diggy handed out massive ass whoopings on wax to J Cole. TWICE.
To me, and I say this as someone that kinda fukks with Cole, that nikka was massively overrated before his first album dropped. I wont even touch the Nas comparisons, but in general he was regarded by many to be in the upper tier of new generation rappers and he hasn't really made good on those projections. I mean, let's look at the shyt objectively. He's not the pop sensation Drake is, he's not the lyricist Lamar is, he doesn't have the subject versatility or lyrical wit of Wale, he can't produce club records as consistently as Big Sean etc. He dropped his project and nikkas went.....fukk is this shyt for the most part. I think he and his camp made a conscious decision to fall back a bit and retool (something that sounds crazy considering the fact that he did legitimately big-time numbers for a new act), because I think they were probably disappointed in the overall reaction to his first project (there seemed to be an initial surge of support for the album quickly followed by people realizing that it had zero replay value), and they were probably concerned that another relatively lackluster release might permanently damage his brand.
Anyway, I think they're doing the right thing assuming my theory is correct. The most important thing for him to do is put out something that resonates with his fans and reinvigorates them with the feeling that most of them had when that Star is Born joint was released (when people thought that he really did have that spark of greatness.) And if he has to take his time doing it, thats fine too.
He's probably in the studio daily working on his album. But i do think he should release more music and be featured on tracks more. The game is fickle and you gotta keep your name out there to be stay hot.
