#1 The 5 Pillars/Elements aren't "Unwritten". The rules are establihsed and have been passed down for generations. It's the culture vultures, outsiders and corporation money always trying to change the rules.
#2. The Legends don't need to say sh!t about the beef honestly. But LL called it a "Pillow Fight" which he's saying they are both weak on the emcee scale and he's right. Drake is obviously not a strong emcee based on him using ghostwriters and Meek also isn't very verstile. It would be a "Feather Weight" Hip Hop Fight if Drake status hadn't been elevated by the corporations and media.
#3. Some of you hardcore Drake Fans seem to want to excuse his arrogant bars. "Last name ever, First name greatest", "Drake featuring Drake". "Maybe I'll help you all off the shelf". As Flex said, if you want to claim King you have to be writing your raps. Drake is the one running around acting like he's God's Gift to emceeing which is why he's getting aired out badly. Ghostwriting always has and will be the third rail of emceeing. Especially if you running around acting like you the Best in a highly competitive genre like Hip Hop. If it was "So Accepted and Everyone Does It" as some like to claim they wouldn't have to hide it and be "Ghost".
#4. Why would any Rap Legend come out and criticize Drake when the mainstream media and all the casual fans who don't even rep Hip Hop anyway. Will mostly like try to diss them and take their words out of context on social media? They don't need to come down from the moutain top and speak on the rules when they are already established. If Ghostwriting wasn't a big deal Drake wouldn't of dropped 2 diss records and several of songs in less than a week to try and prove his credibility after that "10 Bands" reference dropped.
#5. Drake is from Canada, he's an Export to the culture which is why he should of never fixed his mouth to disrespect the Mecca saying "Nobody has to go through New York no more". He's saying this in a Sprite Ad that features 3 of New York's Legendary Emcees. His arrogance is why he's waking up to this reality today. His Hip Hop Soul was sacificed and snatched in the Mecca. He was feeling himself and needed to be knocked down
