One thing that I'm at odds with right now is the notion of forgiveness and peace. I think we need to take action. I'm not sure how but this is coming from a Christian. I don't think this guy should be forgiven.

I know I'm not wrong, Islam is the one true religion breh. It's been here since prophet Adam. It's the only religion that has not been edited or changed.
The devil was originally an jinn that was good, he fell from heaven when he refused to bow before man (prophet Adam). The devil has no REAL power, he just tempts us into committing sins because he's already going to hell himself, he does this by making all the bad things appealing to us ie pre-marital sex, drinking and whatever. The only reason the devil is so good at doing what he does is because he understands how people think as he's been misguiding people since prophet Adam's times.
Ultimately the devil's purpose is to tempt and try to mislead us in order to test our Iman (faith) so he's aiding Allah unknowingly.
