It was to my understanding in the faith that was introduced to me until I bushed it that:

This world/earth belongs to Satan/Devil. There is a heavenly kingdom and god resides there planning...waiting...fukk it...he gonna pull up and its called Armageddon, the last purge so to speak. During this rule of the devil or his time to run rampant on earth, the good folks are to submit to gods word and become loyal followers, baptized, and spread the word.

So it's gods plan to allow evils to happen...until he fukks the devil up and all the loyal people who followed the word. So to answer the OP's question....God was always here watching and letting/willing good and terrible things to occur throughout all of history...including enacting a few objectively bad things himself. This isn't conjecture...there are scriptures saying this....

We shouldn't. I don't believe in going to Church, or Temples or Mosques or whatever. The God I believe in doesn't belong to any religion, I think every religion is fake tbh. I just think one higher power created the universe, and there is heaven/hell, all this worshiping people do is bullshyt and they're wasting their time.
Part why I believe is that the universe is like trillions of trillions light years across, I find it hard to believe a billion trillion sextillion galaxies just appeared out of nowhere with no creation whatsoever. But that's just me.

As someone who used to be religious and no longer believe in religion or any type of god/higher power, I often wonder why do people still literally believe in shyt that can be debunked using simple logic
