Is was 13 when it happened, it was pretty crazy, it happened during class, they let us out early.

In elementary school watching it live- I was so confused when it exploded.

In was in Social Studies class. Actually I'm not sure what that class was because we did everything in it from making butter to talking about the Civil War. Maybe it was history. I didn't understand what I was watching. I thought it was supposed to blow up. I thought it was supposed to explode and shoot them higher up in a smaller piece.
Same. Can't remember if they let us out early. But I vaguely recall teachers being placed in the awkward position of having to explain what happened on the television screen. Was mad awkward.

In school. I didn't know about it until later. Kind of a big news story, but I was like, "I guess they made a boo-boo". I was too young to understand why leaking o-rings could cause rocket failure.
...i was in elementary at a school in south oak cliff dallas area. i don't remember much about that day though, but i do remember some of the teachers were in shock and all distraught over the video.
