I want to know how do they continue beyond with the way the tax is setup? I think if they win another they will opt out and take less money to chase another.

If it was about money or attention they wouldn't have come together in the first place. It's funny how Lebron has this team-hopping rep as if he is just capriciously hopping from team to team. If it was about playing in certain cities he could've been in those cities. He wanted to team with his boys and win titles. I don't see why any of them, especially Lebron would want out. With the new tax looming they will pretty much be forced to take less money. Gonna be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Maybe this is what the gms wanted. Lebron doesn't have the highest contract now and if he takes a even bigger pay cut, does that artificially lower the ceiling for max contracts.
