:yeshrug: who the hell knows? as a Yanks fan, I'd obviously love for him to return under somewhat reasonable circumstances. there's always a chance some random team swoops in (eg: angels and Pujols) last minute to snag Robbie.

who you got?

i still think he re-signs with the yanks.

don't see the tigers going for him after trading for kinsler.

i can't imagine him going to seattle.. but it seems like they're trying to be aggressive with cano and kemp

nationals :lupe:

aint nobody giving him 300 mil
I think he and his team are now requesting somewhere in the neighborhood of 250-260M.

Last Tuesday in a face-to-face meeting with club president Randy Levine and Cashman, Cano’s agents — Brodie Van Wagenen and Juan Perez — requested a nine-year deal for between $250 and $260 million and a vesting option in the area of $30 million for the 10th year. The Yankees stuck to their original seven-year offer for about $160 million. Mega entertainment star Jay Z, another of Cano’s agents, was not part of the meeting.

He'll go to whatever team is stupid enough to give in to their contract demands. If the marlins offered him 260 he'd go there

Once they see the market never offers him close to that he'll re up with the Yankees for 7 years 160-180.After soriano, arods, fielders and pujols contracts I doubt any teams give 30+ players more than 6 years and 125 mil

No one is giving him more than 150. And the Yanks will probably be that team.

It's either he'll take the 7 yrs, $175 million we offered him or he takes the 8 yrs, $200 million reportedly that the Mariners will offer him. Yankees shouldn't budge from their stance. There are not many teams especially today that are willing to pay an alleged 31 yr old that amount of money. Robbie is a great player, but it's about time Yankees put their foot down. Even $175 million is outrageous. He leaves then we have alternatives with Infante, he's not Robbie, but he'll do.

I know ya don't see it; but I can see a flurry of teams getting involved over the coming weeks.
Giants; Orioles, Mariners, Nationals, and Giants will make bids soon.
