I wish someone would come up with the combined numbers for whoever was batting behind them in the line up the last 5 years

If you look at the HRs and SLG% then Cano destroys him but adjust for Parks and such its a minor difference
And Wright gets on Base slightly more

Both the same age
Cano plays a slightly more premium position

But wright signed up for a lot less money at age 29
Cano is 31 and wants a reported 300mm which in itself is a joke

Is he worth double than Wright at an older age. I think not :heh:

Cano will age better, as he can shift to 1st base and has more power. A lot of Wright's value is in his defense, in 1-2 years, he will be a .340 OBP/.440 SLG. with average to slightly below average defense. Not too mention, many 3B don't age well. Cano will be a .330 OBP/.470 SLG who plays 2B or 1B. If Wright was a FA right now, he'd get 170+ mil, but he's not getting $200 mil+ like Cano will and rightfully so.

y'all think Elsburry gets the deal he just got but Cano isn't gonna get atleast 200? Y'all must be crazy.

I figured he'd get $150-200M before the Jacoby Cabrera deal. 6 & 100 is a realistic (pipe dream) deal.
