SMH you cards fans man...

What did I say wrong? In 2009 Pujols had a great year, won the MVP while batting .327, 47 HR's, OPS of 1.101, WAR was 9.7

2012 (not counting this season because of injuries) he batted .285, 30 HR's, OPS of .859 and WAR was 5.0.

In 3 years he went from the best, to average. Maybe slightly above average, but you get what I'm saying.

To be honest man, most of us really don't care. Maybe if we hadn't lucked up and had a better (right now), cheaper option in Allen Craig we'd be angry ... but it's moreso disappointment. Dude signed a contract that he can't be affiliated with the Cardinals for 10 yrs. after he retires. Stuff like that kinda made us feel ill towards him, but eh.

don't play dumb now. His numbers went down in every category (avg, HRs, RBI, etc). Oh he was above .800 after he got caught? :heh: .. we're talking about a guy that was well above .900 and even 1.000 for like 10 years straight before he got caught.
the nikka got older idiot

Going strictly off stats and watching him for his career, he is top 10. When you add PED's to equation it changes everything, tbh I don't know. To be as good as ARod was you have to be good even without steroids. But it's hard to say how good they made him. Look at someone like Bonds, Bonds was a HOF'er before roids and arguably a top 10 player of all time without them, but going on Roids, it took him from top 10 to God mode. Put all your biases aside for Arod, when you add PED's to the equation it's difficult to assess his place all time because we'll never really know how good he was or would have been without them.
