Chris Paul has established himself as number 1 at this point. As parker 2nd tho? Is he better than Westbrook. Remember DRose won MVP, and people were saying he is the best. How will the injury effect his standing? What about Deron Williams and Rondo, where are they in all this? Don't forget Kyrie Irving either, the kid is crazy good..

For me, I've never been a huge fan of Rondo and Deron. And even though Parker is having an amazing season and he is playing better than anyone outside Paul right now, I still have westbrook 2nd. Rose would be 2nd but that injury is big, especially for a guy who relies heavily on his athletic ability. I might even say Parker is better than Rose for the next season or 2 at least. Kyrie Irving is right on their ass, I think he is the only one who has a serious chance to challenge Paul for the top spot. He isn't a bad playmaker either, give the guy some support and he'll get his assist numbers up. Might have the best handle in the game and just won the 3 point shootout :mindblown:

Probably one of the most overlooked players in the league.

His PG skills have improved. His jumper is like night and day to the brick fest he put up a decade ago. He is a finals MVP... and should be in the MVP convo

Why do people keep saying they think Kyire is a good playmaker? When has he ever proven this?

Rose, Russ, Steph all were killed for this aspect of their games, why does Kyrie get a pass?

I think he's better than Rose. Rose is overrated as a passer IMO, though he was showing improvement prior to the injury. Steph isn't bad, he just forces stuff sometimes and that leads to turnovers. Sabo is one of my favorite players so it's hard to say negative stuff but look at who he has on his team... Durant and Martin for starters.

Tony Parker keeps getting better and better the older he gets. His J is more wet, and his playmaking ability is leaps and bounds better than it was when he was younger and they were winning ships.

At the top.
His ranking has to do with exposure - Spurs just aren't one of those flashy team.

Now people who actually watch ball know that Tony has been on his game for the past couple of season while Duncan been declining. Infact his game elevated once Pop pretty much said the Spurs are his team now.

Improved jumper, a monster in the painted area and his decision making is a lot better. Still one of the fastest PGs with the ball in his hand from end to end. I'd rank him somewhere in the top 5 or 7 as of PGs who are playing right now.

:heh: You gave him all this praise and I agree with it, only to say he is a top 5 or 7 PG. :comeon: everyone got him higher than that at this point. Who are 6 PGs better than tony right now.

Behind paul and Killa Kyrie

Kyrie is dope but Tony Parker is better right now.

It'd debatable though if Parker is in the MVP discussion though. The Spurs are such a well oiled machine that they roll even when Parker isn't playing. The Clippers on the other hand aint shyt without CP3.

Right now he's number two behind Paul. With Westbrook taking the third spot. But if D-Rose was healthy he'd be number two and everyone else would go down a spot. Tony Parker is underappreciated and underrated but the real ballers know. He has had an excellent career and probably will be able to ball like this for at least another 3 or 4 years. He will be a first ballot Hall of Famer with 3 titles so he will get the last laugh on many of these point guards who have been called better over the years.

according to his NBA titles, Finals MVPs, and Stats he's number 1

I see that duncan avy but come on man, I don't see a serious argument against Paul here.
If you say titles or w/e I'm going to have to bring up the good old Robert Horry > Charles Barkley and Karl Malone example
