Where's that link to the free textbooks?

Three out of my four classes are using custom textbooks that come with an access code for me to log in in order to do homework. So basically i cant even buy used. $450 in total fukking cons

average to lower than average. depends. if you're taking 000s or 100s courses, which you are because you're clearly a freshman, it's not crazy. The higher up you go and the more detailed the class is the books will usually cost more. You can always ask your prof for a cheaper alternative. This is all based off my experience at a state university.

I used to not buy books until like after the 3rd week of the semester and if I absolutely had to they were being brought off half.com. nikka had to make sure the professors was actually gonna use em and if I could get by without having one but borrowing others every now and then. I even used to go to the bookstore and whip out the iphone and snap pics of the pages that were due to read and do HW on. **** I look like paying 300+ a semester on books.

New textbooks are crazy. I have saved my big textbooks that the bookstore didn't buy back. Different ones were being used for the next semester.

I would always try to get used books. The previous owner would highlight some things. No big deal. It's ridiculous when they highlight 90% of the page. It's like, what was the point of that.

I usually find my books at ebookee.net. You should google it with ".pdf" at the end, you'd be surprised how many direct links to books you'll find.
