Ready to Die spoke to me, i could relate to every song, had all elements of mcing (storytelling, breath control, lyrics, etc) plus the best flow of all times.

Illmatic didnt have the storytelling, OB4CL didnt have the lyrics, but there still top 5 of all times to me.

Ob4cl is the best hip hop album of all time and I've been saying that since forever. I hear something new every time I listen to it, and there wasn't any rap genius to help you decode that shyt back then. You had to listen over and over and know your alphabets and math.

The only argument for illmatic and rtd is that they were pretty much held down by one rapper front to back. But even that is not enough to beat ob4cl imo.

i refuse to conform
I'm going to go with Cuban Linx, and this ain't even a knock against Illmatic because that shyt is an all time classic but I just seem to listen to it much more. They're both better than RTD but I love that album as well.

The Sun Rises in the East is up there also.

how u gonna mention sun rises but not mention 456 smh.

totally overlooked G Rap, my bad breh but you are right.... that's a classic album too. Dr. Butcher, Buckwild, T-Ray, Remi all did their thing on the boards for that record.

what about the infamous? no rappity rap songs, equal in production to ob4cl, no rnb joints, dope guest features, and had some dope stories/concepts.

Pretty much. It's the most cohesive and consistent album I've ever heard. I can't think of anything wrong with it.
