Some white kid at one of my tennis camps told me I wasn’t “B.E.T black” and then tried to cop pleas when I asked him to explain what he meant.

He actually tried to run to some of the coaches and say I got violent but in a surprising case of anti-cacery, some of the other white kids actually backed my side of the story up.

It was one of those eye opening moments to me because he seemed decent up until that point but they always show their true colors, sooner or later.

It depends. Time and place. I did check one middle aged white lady at a Six Flags who said "Your hair is so soft!" After grabbing it. I have 15 years worth of locs. I turned around and grabbed a handful of her hair and said, "would you be cool with me doing this out of the blue!?"

I remember when I was working this job when I was a lot younger. It was a security job for a gated community. I remember I would answer the phone with my professional voice .




Anyway, this one white resident had it out for me. One night he called and I answered. He was saying stuff like, 'you know, you guys have some people working for you that don't do what they're supposed to ', 'there are some people there that don't quite fit your bill '



Me: ' yea, i know there are people working here, other than myself and a few others that are a bit lazy .'



Old cac: 'I agree with you sir, let me come to your security shack and talk more about it with you.'


Me: 'sure why not .'

Long story short....... He came by the our guard house and he saw me and said something like, 'You're the person I talked to over the phone ?!
