Yea I just test drove the model S p85 and the acceleration was crazy

I'm about to go test drive a model S 90D

I'm looking for a p85D though

P85D owner here:mjlit:

Def recommend the Tesla. But do your research. Tesla is a young company, so they have had many issues. From production, to parts, to policy, to service. For instance, there’s been reported issues with the transferring of free unlimited supercharging to new owners, since that’s important to your decision making process, you’ll want to confirm it’ll transfer. Also I’ve tangentially read of issues with those 90 kWh batteries.

Become familiar with the TMC forums to get a flavor of what current owners are going through, remembering to keep it all in context (unhappy owners/experiences tend to dominate cause happy owners are just rebooting their cars, not seeking help/venting on forums).

Something about degradation being higher than the other variants. I don’t know the details as I haven’t followed it closely. Look in the battery subforum there. Could start by searching for “batterygate”

Get yourself a hellcat breh. Yea Telsa is superfast on acceleration and you don't have to spend money on gas but I'm sure that a hellcat will have you cheesing all the way to your destination. That rumble and the supercharge whine :wow: Hellcats charger can also reach 60 mph under 4 secs btw.

Yup. I got the gen 1 autopilot that came when they first announced it.

And I only have cursory knowledge on it, but I have seen multiple people say it’s safer to just get an 85 or 100
