Yeah, but still some obviously have a shrewder mindset for business than others. Take Michael Jackson for example when he bought the Beetles music. Other musicians could have made that move but didn't.

And you know all the circumstances that prevented other artists from doing the same thing? MJ was good friends with Paul McCartney who taught him the game of owning catalogues. If that wasn't the case history would be different.

This is how I first saw him.....

It was the first 'reality' show on TV back in 1979. Dude was about 18-19 years old and a stand-up comedian who'd appeared on Johnny Carson then landed a network job as a co-host on one of the most-watched shows of the 80's. He parlayed that into....well.........I'll just let you see for yourself......



And furthermore.....

CultureBanx noted Allen made waves across the media industry when his company Entertainment Studios acquired The Weather Channel for $300 million last year. In 2017, he claimed his media companies investments were valued at around $1 billion. That figure is sure to have increased after the Weather Channel acquisition which Allen plans to leverage to open up distribution opportunities for his other assets. Not to mention he was able to scoop up the company at an extreme discount, from Comcast-subsidiary NBCUniversal, Blackstone, and Bain Capital, they paid $3.5 billion for the media property in 2008.

There is, however, ONE issue I, personally have with him.......
