Real talk, has there ever been a long-lasting, fully functional relationship between a black woman and a non-black man...at least in the public sphere? Or at least one that didn't smack of being a cheap gimmick in the vein of "black girls rock"?
I'm genuinely curious.
Anti-miscegenation laws were appealed less than 60 years ago. Mixing between Black women and non-black men will become more prevalent, especially as sisters make inroads in education and business. And people in entertainment are generally crazy so an not a good barometer for functional. They are more fukked up than the average Joe. Also brehettes tend not to parade around their non-white men. They just love the man that they are with...these new black dingbats one generation from the hood on need love or have grudges....are a different story...but...
Honorable mentions:
Robert Deniro and Grace Hightower m. 1997. Previous wife was also AfrAm
Michael Caine and wife Shakira m. 1977
Lena Horne and Lennie Heyton m. 1947 until his death in 71
Richard and Mildred Loving m. 1958 until death. Their relationship made interracial marriages legal in the States and free for brehs to PAWG
Iman and David Bowie
Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves
Roxie Roker and Sy Kravitz (Lenny Kravitz parents)
Donna Summers and Bruce Sedano (2nd spouse until death. 1st spouse was Caucasian)
Tamera Mowrey and spouse (also Mowrey's mom and dad)
Lili and Don Francks (Cree Summer's parents who is an awesome human being and the world needs more people like her)
And those are just BW/WM...

Box Cutta negged you for your post in the thread Which Coli Wolf Terrorized This Poor Girl?. With the following comment:
