True, but In a sense it does matter what joe blow buys if its half your dorm or half the co-workers you play with.

get both...i have a 360 and a ps3....
i'll eventually end up with a ps4 and xbox one....
down the line tho....im not rushing to buy anything next month

Its very few people I play with that I know. And the ones I do play with is is getting both system regardless.

I'm getting all new consoles too. Not everyone can afford it tho. Most of the people I have on my friends list are people from home, college and the coli.
I guess the best example Is when I was in college and everyone was getting either the 360 or the ps3. A lot of people bought 360's because the install base on campus was there and Everyone wanted to play online with each other. People with ps3s were left out of having a big gaming community until about 2008.
Sidenote: There was a lot of people on campus too with a GameCube and only had smash bros. melee when that was poppin'.

I will get both eventually but I'm getting the Xbox one first.
I've never been into the console wars but I prefer Xbox because of the online experience. I don't play single player hardly at all. I also like the features. An all around entertainment system that plays games also is what I need in my life

why not jus get both so you don't have to worry
People keep throwing that "both" opinionout there but the truth is jnot many people will be getting both on launch day. That's a rack... Blown in one week... I know you IT nikkas get 8 racks a week but the rest of the general public may not.
