If he was facing the building, he would block the top bar when he passes it. You see the top bar in front of him which means he's swinging away from the building.

good analysis, but what about his return swing? If he was swinging away from the building.. his return swing should block view of the top bar but it doesnt

It has, you can tell because there is a break in the sequence. The first sequence has a blocking of the top bar which makes it appear that he is swinging toward the building. The second sequence shows a blocking of the side bar which makes it appear that he’s swinging away. I think the edit was the top bar.

I was gonna disagree with you on something but it was corrected. I had to expand the video on my phone cuz it was hard to tell when it's on small view. But yeah I was gonna say that's typical swinging science. Plus you can see the bar in front of him on the swing back. Definitely swinging towards the camera.
