So I've been thinking about adopting another dog; that would be 3 dogs under one roof. The two I currently own are a blue nosed pit and a black lab. Black lab is really my brother's but my mother and I take care of her since my brother isn't ever home.

Really I barely have enough time to take care of my pit (lab doesn't really need much tending to. She's an inside dog) because of taking 3 classes in grad school and commuting to and from GMU twice a week, which is a 2 hour drive, but the idea appealed to me after browsing an adopt a pet website and finding out about a dog adoption center that gets dogs that are on deathrow at high kill facilities. I can't stand the idea of killing a dog because no one wants it :to:, and reading some of the bios on the website got a nikka feeling real sad and guilty for these dogs :mjcry:

I probably won't adopt another one as it really isn't up to me since Mom dukes has the final say and I'm living with her until grad school ends the fall of this year (:comeon: :snoop:)

Anyways, which would y'all adopt and why? I'm looking at Oreo, Nina and Hank :noah:

:manny: so can a human

True

You just don't expect a human to bite you. Dogs....I just don't believe in taming animals/having pets or keeping animals in zoos. If you are not farming an animal for sustenance, leave it alone.

that seems kind of selfless, i can get behind that frame of thought

I don't know about selfless, human being can be inherently self serving. I just think animals and humans would both be healthier if human beings respected natural boundaries
