if you're in a fair fight, something like jiu jitsu or wrestling is the best. if you're on the street or in the club, boxing and other striking arts are better. You don't want to be on the ground rolling around with someone. You want to knock them out and get out of there.
Or even being able to land a body shot can do the trick.I would not advise knocking someone out tho.
Knowing the basics of both boxing and ju jit su and bing physically fit.You can pretty much wipe the floor with most loud mouth street brawlers.
Even @Mowgli would say that boxing is superior.
Your first mistake is assuming a street fight is a fair fight. There's no rules to that shyt, so the winner is whoever can summon a murder rage. You'll be in your boxing stance while a wild breh is clawing at your face and nuts indiscriminately
Coli fight IQ remains in the bottom quartile.

Jiu Jitsu is great if you're a cop, bouncer, etc and you have boys backing you up and you want to stop a buy without just destroying him. It's great for one on one competitive battles. However in situations where you have multiple guys coming at you, you want to have knockout power
