Which film do you like the most, Scarface, Blow, or Goodfellas?

Ehhhhh..i see where you're coming from but i disagree. I don't think that its the same movie at all. There are definitely parallels but thats about it.

yea you know what I mean. a behind the scenes look at organized crime told from a first party perspective.

both movies have a lot of the same beats and rhythms.

It's always being shown on AMC,IFC, or Spike TV. I don't even mind the commercials

but GoodFellas will always be the best out of the three.

I own all 3 of these Movies but Goodfellas is the best out of them. Scarface is definitely at the back of line here. Goodfellas had a better story PERIOD. I'm not the Gangster Flick Professional so I can't really say why. It just seemed better put together. George Young had Good Movie with Blow, I think Johnny Depp did Good with that.

Goodfellas over all though.

casino is amazing but it is also essentially goodfellas pt. 2. same movie just in a different setting with different characters. more epic and larger in scale too.

goodfellas had the benefit of coming first and breaking that ground. plus it's more lively and energetic.

Casino was great. Thank god Pacino didn't get his hands on it and ruin it. You just know he was lobbying to play Ace.

Sorry but scarface is a b level movie and it's easily top 3 overrated of all time . Does that mean I didn't enjoy it,no , but it's awful in comparison to goodfellas and even blow.

Godfather 1 and two, Goodfellas and casino is goat

Blow is an amazing movie, it's just that Marty has a way with filming that makes it stand above the rest

Scarface is good but it's akin to a cult classic like Donnie darko. Watchable movie, but In the grand scheme of things comparing it to real classic movies is like saying applebees is better than a 5 star restaurant

I'm not Knocking Scarface but I didn't get into it like that much like the rest of the world Chico. It just didn't grasp my attention like Goodfellas did but it was still Mildly Entertaining.

nah i know. at the end of the day goodfellas is the all around better movie. i agree.

but scarface to me is still goat level.
