so for all the 1 stars and negs, what makes these games look fun?
I'll bite, since dudes are totally incapable forming any type of reasonable position other than "________ Sony game is awesome and you're a poopie head if you disagree"
Team Ico's games are basically art as video game. The enjoyment comes as much the emotional experience, as it does actually playing the game.
With that said TLG seems to lose some of that urgency and emotion you felt from their older titles, due to the heavily scripted nature of your companion A.I.
No mans sky's appeal lies in exploration. I've always wanted a game that would let me take off from one planet leave its atmosphere fly to another land and explore. To my knowledge No mans sky is the first to do this in a real way.
Think back to the maco missions in mass effect. As barebones, baron and ultimately boring as they were, i still enjoyed the hell out of them. When destiny was first being billed as "explore the stars" I thought it would be similar to what NMS is.
I honestly don't know if I'll pour a bunch of hours into it, or just explore a couple planets till the feelings of wonder wear off, but I can't wait to find out.
