Final Fantasy 7 - Every time I entered a new city/town I was amazed how well it captured my attention and mood. Especially Cosmo Canyon.
Metro Last Light- They know scary, because they know how to set the mood, the game was less about jump scares and more about lighting, and that means a whole lot in a survival horro game.
Assassins Creed; Black Flag; The best in the series, from the legendary pirates to the sounds of the waves crashing on your ship. Havana's cobblestone roofs and spanish speaking residents, yeah that game was worth the buy.
Bioshock Infinite, Irrational Games' magnum opus, and with reason, the minute step into the word, you're immediately sold, from the beautiful skies to the ambiance of children playing and the vendors selling their wares.
