Yep, same for me...playing Halo 2 all day with the homies on Xbox Live was the shyt.

And I was so geeked when I first got my GBA, I didn't have any games but I turned it on 100 times just to watch the opening animation.

And my Dreamcast...man...why'd you have to get me all in my feels OP? I'm dead at that piece of crap NGage being on that pic though, shyt was a massive joke.

SNES-PS1-PS2 era:

-Games worked out the box with no patches
-No DLC shyt
-JRPGS by the truckload :noah:
-More variety in games in general

Gaming was so much simpler then. :mjcry:

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Honestly, the last one. Self sufficient enough to buy my own shyt and get p*ssy. But I still didn't have any real responsibilities except getting through high school and college and I had a lot more free time. :yeshrug:

Playing Xbox Live all night with my boys on Halo, Gears and Madden couldn't be beat. :mjcry:

Hard to call, Games tried much harder with gameplay when they didn't have to focus on spending 3857830457084574 resources on graphics and online content. Every leap in graphically tech, the gameplay has gotten worst and worst.

The 8bit era while great, most was about difficulty and gameplay. Trying to tell a story was pretty meh. (music was GOAT)

The 16bit era allowed for more story telling and better gameplay (music was GOAT)

the 32bit era was like a huge step forward and a huge step backwards. We had 3d gaming but man it looked like trash! But it was 3d! so we got to experience all kind of new gameplay combined with story (music was ok)

The 64 bit era stepped up the 32 bit ra a bit.

Then there's everything else.

I think the 16bit era, the 32 bit era and then 128 bit era (xbox)

Chrono trigger
FF7 MGS
Jade empire, KOTOR, Mass effect, Blinx...etc etc

Sega vs Nintendo

At the time the war of the consoles was Beginning. But at that time owning one or the other was not a big deal. Most kids had both anyways. I enjoyed any video game at the time. I didn't kno any better. Every game rated a 8 or better in my head. I just remembing having so much fun :to:
