Photos, epescially candid ones. People in mirrors hold themselves together, lift their head, adjust expressions, maybe puff that chest out a bit and suck in gut. Photos in the moment capture your resting state without the benefit of self consciousness.
Maybe more accurate of how others see you rather than how we see ourselves.
