I wouldn't be mad at either, because I can see myself unintentionally doing that

I'd get more upset at some manlet (sub 6 feet) not resetting my seat and mirrors back to original position

I'd also be mad if somebody touches my radio or adjusts my AC while they are a passenger

This is why you should buy a manual. The percentage of people who can drive your car is so much lower. Nobody will be borrowing your car if they can't drive it
