That's because there isn't one. I'm just giving my opinion on why I believe labels may buy albums...general discussion. Ya'll believe it doesn't happen I believe it does.

So which albums are bought by the label and which aren't?

Like did death row buy a lot of AEOM? Or was that all real sales? What about thriller was those 100 million albums bought by MJ's label?

My only problem with this argument is people pick and choose when they use it with artists they don't like

folks on here must want folk shipped off....u not going get proof unless a employee is on some Snowden type shyt.....ppl's jobs are at risk if some shyt like that is leaked.....think of the backlash

to this day we still talk about labels buying albums, i dont get it. the only logical reasoning i can see for that is if an artist on your label is at 470K first week and you want to bump him to gold, or 900k+ to plat.
