Who do you think could have pulled it off? I'm limiting myself to pre-Attitude era type wrestlers . . . so no Stone Cold or Brian Pillman or some shyt.

I think Razor Ramon could come in and, with absolutely no fan foreknowledge, could get himself over. A nice modern character with just enough corny humor.

Jake the Snake, accounting for drug problems and such, could easily still be a superstar.

Agreed. Perfect had the charisma and natural athleticism.

Arn did only one thing but did it well. His promos were always intense. I could see him locking up with Batista or some shyt.
