stars don't grow on trees. Once you exit the top 3 there's a large chance you selected a role player

I actually think he will be fine unlike Randle who lacks the athleticism and wingspan to compete at the 4. Orlando will probably put him at then 3.

You really think Randle lacks athleticism? And Randle beasted on Nba Length that tried to guard him at Kentucky.

I'll say Lavine mainly becuz of who he went to. Anywhere else and he'd have of glimmer of hope.
based on...
I think he'll be a star. Everything you want athletically, can shoot, and handle the rock. he was just in a bad situation at UCLA playing with other ball dominant guards in the congested college game. he should thrive ala Russell Westbrook in the wide open NBA game.

skillwise I don't see a single hole in his game. unlike most superathetes who bust, he can handle the rock.
him and Westbrook play nothing alike. Hop off his dikk

LaVine is going to be the most evident bust, Gordon will play below expectations, Vonleh will be a bust too but he's redeemable and I can see him growing into a force later. People will be calling Wiggins a bust for 2-3 years because he'll play fairly pedestrian, but I think he'll be a great player later down the line.

Also Smart won't be a bust, I think he'll be a candidate for ROTY. Players who play with as much heart as he does always pan out one way or the other. And it's not like he's undersized to play point (which I truly believe is his true position) so if the C's move Rondo and have him run point then I can see him becoming a multiple time all-star. He's that good, act like a fool if you want to

Son, why I gotta be all that? :dwillhuh:

And I meant the Wolves eventually sabotaging his career.
how could they sabotage his career? How hard could it be to prove to someone that they can't play basketball?

You know what LaVine is? He's the guy who can't do shyt in life other than dunk so come all-star weekend after another failed dunk contest we're like "why don't they just let anybody participate? I know he sucks but let a bum ass team give him a 10 day deal so he can participate and then throw him in the bushes afterwards?"

After reading this, I'll cast my vote for Lavine.

LaVine is the obvious front-runner. Dude drove @tremonthustler1 to a drunken pit of despair. Had him wandering around like shep for the first 1 hour of the movie.

Aaron Gordon is the other likely bust, here. Unless he grows another inch or two, he's kind of without a position. Can't really shoot or dribble, probably can't guard NBA 4's....

Gordon definitely can't shoot. But he can absolutely dribble and guard any position on the floor.
